On the last trading day, market declined today.Market started with a good note but in tha last hour of trading , it fell. Sensex nifty broke by 1.5 per cent.
- All major sectors of the BSE indices are closed in the red.
- Capital goods, banking, FMCG, power and auto stocks fell.
- BSE Capital Goods index fell by 2.5 per cent while banking, FMCG, power and auto fell nearly 2 percent.
- Sensex fell 427 points or 1.5 percent and closed at 28503.3.
- Nifty fell 128 points or 1.5 percent and closed at 8648.

The Nifty fell 58.25 pts to close at 8181.50, after hitting a low of 8,144.75 intraday. For the truncated week, the Sensex was down 426.63 points or 1.55% and the Nifty by 123.75 points or 1.5%.
