Week's first trading day , Indian Stock Market open with a boom.Today the market has led with record levels.Nifty crossed the 8000 level. Midcap and Smallcap stocks seems to have energy. Metal, capital goods, banking and auto stocks have good buying trend.
The 30-share BSE Sensex index is currently trading at a level of 26,816 with a gain of 0.7 per cent or 178 points. The NSE 50-share Nifty index gained 54 points, ie 0.7 per cent and is trading at 8008 levels.
During trading Hero Moto, GAIL, L & T, Tata Power, Bajaj Auto and SBI rose 1.8 to 1.4 per cent. However, Power Grid, BHEL and IDFC fell 0.8 to 0.2 per cent.
In midcap stocks Natco Pharma, Bajaj Electric, Supreme Industries, Lakshmi Machine and Kajaria Ceramic rose 4.8 to 3 per cent.

- Dr Reddy's Laboratories Ltd is a 'BUY' call with a target of Rs 3050 and a stop loss of Rs 2930
- ONGC is a 'BUY' call with a target of Rs 470 and a stop loss of Rs 422
