In the last hour of trading , due to recovery the market fall with the Sensex losing 194.44 points to 24911.07 and the Nifty declining 64.95 points to 7446.50.
Sensex down 74 points to 25031 and the Nifty fell 18 points to close at 7493. Midcap and Smallcap stocks showed gain of 0.6 percent.
FMCG shares declined 4 percent. IT and tech stocks broke by 1.75 to 1.25 per cent. Consumer durables stocks declined by 1.2 per cent
Oil and Gas shares rose 2 per cent. Metal stocks rose by 1 percentage point Auto, healthcare, banking, capital goods, realty, power stocks strengthened from 0.75 to 0.25 per cent.
In Nifty stocks ITC rolled down by 5.5 percent. It is believed that in this budget there has been a massive incraes in tax on cigarettes.
United Spirits, Infosys, HCL Tech, HUL, TCS, Tata Motors, Wipro fell from 3.5 to 1 per cent.
