NSE BSE Market Updates | 3 June Stock Tips or Recommendations

Today the Indian stock market rose due to the expectation in taking major steps towards economic reforms.Sensex surge 467 points to 24,685 and Nifty gained 132 points to close at 7362 . Midcap and Smallcap stocks climbed 2 percent .

Capital goods stocks surge 5 per cent . Bank shares rose 3.25 per cent . Oil & Gas , Power , Metal , consumer durables , auto , realty stocks were strong from 3 to 1.5 per cent . Technology stocks rose 0.6 per cent. IT stocks were sluggish . However , FMCG and healthcare stocks declined by 1 percentage .
 

In Nifty L & T shares rose nearly 7 percent . L & T net profit in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2014 increased 69.2 per cent to Rs 2723.5 crore .

Heavyweights stocks HCL Tech , Tech Mahindra , Dr. Reddy's , Sun Pharma , ITC , Lupin , Wipro , NTPC fell from 2.3 to 1 per cent .
