Over the rising concern of Iraq, Indian stock market declined by 1 percent. Sensex closed at 25,246 fell 275 points and the Nifty fell 73 points to close at 7558. Midcap and Smallcap stocks fell nearly 1 to 0.5 per cent.
Realty shares declined 2.75 per cent. Power, consumer durables, oil & gas, metals, IT, banking, technology, capital goods, FMCG, auto shares broke nearly 2-1 per cent. There was slight weakness in healthcare Shares.
In Oil and gas stocks HPCL 4.5 per , BPCL 3.4 per cent and Indian Oil 2 per cent and Reliance Industries 2 percent fell
In Realty shares Prestige Estates rolled down 6 per cent. DLF fell 2.3 per cent and Godrej Properties 2 percent.
In Healthcare shares, Cipla rose 3 percent. Lupin had a strength of 2 per cent.
