On the consecutive third day market closed at green. Sensex - Nifty closed at record levels. Nifty touched a new height of 7673.7 and Sensex at 25644.7. . Midcap and Smallcap stocks continued to rally.
The market closed with a gain of 1 per cent. Sensex surge 184 points to 25,580 and Nifty gained 71 points to close at 7655. Midcap and Smallcap stocks rose 1.5-2 per cent
Realty shares surge 6 per cent. Capital goods, power, metal, consumer durables stocks rose 2.5 to 2 per cent. Auto, technical, IT stocks strengthened from 1.5 to 1 per cent. Healthcare stocks rose 0.5 per cent.FMCG and bank stocks have a slight edge.Oil & gas stocks declined by 0.5 per cent
