The Indian stock market ended todays session listless trading on a flat note. The Sensex was down 44.45 points at 25201.80. The Nifty ended at 7540.70, down 17.50 points. About 1403 shares advanced, 1593 shares declined and 87 shares were unchanged.

Oil and gas stocks declined 3 per cent. Banks, capital goods, power, metal, broken 1 per share. Realty shares declined 0.5 per cent

IT and tech stocks rose nearly 2 to 1.25 percent. Consumer durables stocks rose 1.25 percent Healthcare, Auto, FMCG shares strengthened from 0.5 to 0.2 per cent.
