Today Indian stock market shows to have a strong trend. At 11 am, the Sensex rose 40 points to 25,863 and Nifty gained 9 points at 7724 levels. Midcap and Smallcap stocks have 0.75 to 1 percent growth.
Healthcare, realty, oil & gas, consumer durables stocks rose 1 to 0.6 per cent. FMCG, Power, tech stocks are strong by 0.4 to 0.2 per cent. Bank, IT, auto stocks are sluggish. Capital goods and metal stocks fell 0.4 per cent.
In Nifty Dr Reddy's, Lupin, BPCL, Asian Paints, Reliance Industries, Tata Power, IDFC, Ambuja Cements, Bharti Airtel, Cairn India have 2 to 0.7 per cent growth.
Heavyweight stocks M & M, L & T, United Spirits, Coal India, PNB, Sesa Sterlite, Grasim, UltraTech Cement, Jindal Steel, Hindalco, Wipro, HDFC, ACC fell from 1 to 0.5 per cent.
In midcap Videocon Industries, Gujarat Pipavav, Central Bank, KPIT Tech, Phoenix Mills rose from 7.3 to 4.4 per cent. The Bajaj Holdings, Den Networks, GSFC, care fell from 3.2 to 2 per cent.
In Smallcap stocks Kirloskar Brothers, United Bank, Polaris Tech, Excel Corp., Hinduja Global surged 15-9 per cent.
