Indian stock market showed the energy just before the budget . On the second consecutive day sensex nifty closed at a record high.
The Sensex rose 138 points to 26100 and the Nifty rose 35 points to close at 7787. Sensex closed above 26,000 for the first time. Smallcap stocks rose 0.6 per cent.Midcap stocks are dull.
IT and tech stocks surged 2.6 to 2.2 per cent. Power, Healthcare, Auto, capital goods stocks rose 1 to 0.6 per cent.Metal and consumer durables stocks saw dull.
Bank shares fell 1.2 per cent and oil a& gas share broken by 1 per cent. Realty stocks are in pressure.
