Sensex Nifty closed at new record | Get 2 days free trial in stock commodity

Due to buying at the end of the today's trading , Indian stock market closed at new record levels.During trading Sensex and Nifty made new life time high.

Sensex gained 124 points and closed at 26,272.Nifty closed at 7831 up by 35 points. However, small-medium Share backward. Midcap stocks are dull. Smallcap stocks gained slightly.

Metal shares rose 1.5 per cent. IT and FMCG stocks were nearly 1 per cent stronger. Tech, banks, realty, capital goods stocks rose from 0.6 to 0.2 per cent.

Consumer durables broke nearly 1 per cent. Power, Healthcare, Oil & Gas shares fell 0.3 to 0.2 percent. However, there was a slowdown in auto stocks.

Heavyweights shares Bank of Baroda, Asian Paints, HCL Tech, Hindalco, Tata Steel, rose from 3.5 to 2.5 per cent.

In big stocks Cairn India rolled down by 6.7 per cent.

GAIL, Power Grid, Hero Moto, Dr Reddy's, Cipla fell 2 to 0.5 per cent.

International Market 

• In Asian markets, Shanghai Composite gained 1.25 per cent. Hang Seng gained 0.7 percent. Taiwan Index and Straits Times rose.However, the Nikkei fell.
• Rupee slipped against the dollar.The rupee is currently trading at 60.11 levels.

• ACC Ltd is a 'BUY' call with a target of Rs 1500 and a stop loss of Rs 1430
• Glenmark Ltd is a 'BUY' call with a target of Rs 630 and a stop loss of Rs 575
