Equity benchmarks started off the week on negative note, falling for the second consecutive session on Monday weighed down by banks and oil & gas stocks
Sensex down 135 points to 25,991 and Nifty closed at 7749 down 49 points. Midcap and Smallcap stocks fell from 0.4 to 0.7 per cent.
Realty shares fell 2.7 percent. Metal shares 1.5 per cent and OIl & gas shares broke 1.3 per cent. Auto, bank, capital goods stocks fell 0.7 per cent. Power stocks came under pressure.
Consumer durables stocks fell 0.5 per cent. FMCG, IT, Technical, Healthcare shares rose 0.4 to 0.2 percent.
Heavyweights shares DLF rolled down 5.25 per cent. Coal India, UltraTech Cement, BPCL, Ambuja Cements, Grasim, NMDC, Hindalco, ACC, Tata Steel broke 3-2 per cent.

International Market
- European markets have mixed trends. CAC is strong by 0.3 per cent. FTSE have light edge. However, DAX is trading in red mark.
- In Asian markets, Shanghai Composite gained nearly 2.5 per cent. Hang Seng, Kospi, Nikkei gained 0.8 to 0.5 percent. Taiwan index shows weakness.
- Rupee apears to be moved in a small range against US dollar.Currently it is trading at Rs 60.11.
