The Indian stock market closed with weakness on the fourth consecutive day. Sensex - Nifty slipped by 1.25 percent each.Midcap and smallcap stcoks also fell.
At the end of trading Sensex dropped 321.94 points, ie 1.31 per cent to closed at 24 234 . The NSE 50-share Nifty index fell 94 points , ie 1.28 per cent to closed at 7235.65 levels .
