Due to good International signs and strong ruppe Indian domestic markets opened with a good sign.At 9:22 am , the Sensex rose 88 points to 24,386 and Nifty gained 14 points at 7267 levels . Midcap and Smallcap stocks are strong by 0.8 to 1.3 per cent .
Consumer durables stocks surged 8 percent . Metal , realty , auto , capital goods, power surged nearly 2-1 per cent . Oil and Gas stocks are strong 0.75 percent . Bank shares also have good edge. However , IT and tech stocks due to strong rupee fell from 0.75 to 0.5 per cent . Light pressure on FMCG and healthcare stocks .
In Nifty Coal India rose by 5 percent. Bajaj Auto , Maruti Suzuki , SBI , DLF , BHEL , Tata Steel , Reliance Industries , Sesa Sterlite , L & T , NTPC rose 3-1 per cent .
Heavyweights stocks Infosys , Wipro , Ultratech Cement , HCL Tech , Dr Reddy , Kotak Mahindra Bank , Bharti Airtel , Power Grid shares fell 1.7 to 0.5 per cent .
Asian markets have a strong lead.The Nikkei is up 1.5 percent . Taiwan Index , Hang Seng , Kospi rose 1 to 0.5 per cent . The Shanghai Composite and Straits Times have an edge . SGX Nifty is above 7300 .
