After beginning with boom , the market lost its energy. At 11 am , the Sensex rose 24 points to 23,839 and Nifty is at 7108 ,down about 0.5 points . Midcap and Smallcap stocks are under pressure .
Consumer durables stocks rose 1.25 percent . Power stocks is 1 per cent . Healthcare , FMCG , realty , bank stocks are strong from 0.75 to 0.25 per cent . Capital goods , oil & gas , auto stocks are sluggish . Metal , IT , tech shares have fallen around 1 to 0.5 per cent .
In Nifty stocks,Sun Pharma has gained 2.5 percent . Sun Pharma has resolved a dispute with Novartis in the United States .
Heavyweights stocks like NTPC , Tata Power , GAIL , Axis Bank , PNB , HUL , Kotak Mahindra Bank , Power Grid , DLF , Maruti Suzuki moved up 3-1 per cent.
Big stockes Asian Paints broke by 4.75 percent and Bank of Baroda by 3.3 percent.Coal India , NMDC , Wipro , Ambuja Cements , BPCL has fallen from 2.5 to 1 per cent .
