Just one day before Lok Sabha election results , market returned with buying.At 9:22 am , the Sensex gained 156 points to 23,971 and Nifty gained 42 points at 7150 levels . Midcap and Smallcap stocks are 0.5 percent stronger .
Consumer durables stocks rose 1.5 per cent . Realty stocks seems 1 percent . Healthcare , Metal , Oil & Gas , Power , Capital Goods , Auto stocks are strong from 0.75 to 0.25 per cent . Technology and FMCG stocks are sluggish . IT stocks are under pressure .
In Nifty stocks Sun Pharma , Hindalco , DLF , BHEL , Sesa Sterlite , Tata Power, Reliance Industries , Hero Moto , Jindal Steel are 2 to 0.75 percent stronger .
In the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2014 , Tata Steel has made a profit of Rs 1036 crore . Tata Steel shows 1.5 percent strong .
Tech Mahindra 's net profit in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2014 reduced by 39.2 percent to Rs 614 crore . Tech Mahindra is dull .
