On the second consecutive day market showed profit taking session.Sensex fell 167 points and closed at 24,549 and the Nifty fell 41 points to close at 7318 . Midcap and Smallcap stocks declined by about 0.5 percent. Today the power , oil & gas and auto stocks shows selling pressure.There was a little bit of buying trend in the IT and pharma stocks

In today's business GAIL 7.6 percent ,BHEL share 5.3 percent , PNB 3.1 percent and BOB 3 percent , IDFC 2.9 percent ,Tata power 2.8 per cent ,SBI 2.7 per cent,Coal India 2.5 percent , ONGC and M & M 2.4 per cent dropped.
