Nifty Future | Best Stocks To Buy | Intraday Stock Recommendations or Tips today 20 May 2014

The Sensex rose 135.37 points to 24498.42 and the Nifty gained 50.40 points to 7313.95. The BSE Midcap and Smallcap indices rising 2.3 percent and 2.8 percent, respectively.

Equity benchmarks recovered with the Sensex gained over 100 pts and the Nifty trading above the 7300 level supported by banks, technology, FMCG and metals stocks.

Sesa Sterlite and Tata Steel topped in buying list, gain 4 percent each, Hindalco Industries with 3 percent. In FMCG, ITC and Hindustan Unilever surged 1-2 percent while in IT  TCS, Infosys and Wipro advanced 1.6-2.6 percent.

Housing finance company HDFC moved up 1.9 percent. Axis Bank rose 1.6 percent while rival HDFC Bank advanced 0.5 percent.

Midcap gainers:  Unitech, Chennai Petroleum, MMTC, Oberoi Realty and Max India
Sensex gainers: NTPC, Tata Power, Hindalco, ITC and SBI
