Today on the consecutive third day market made a new record.The Sensex reached 24069 and Nifty at 7172 New Life High . However , market has some pressure in the upper levels due to profit.
The Sensex rose 320 points to 23871 and Nifty gained 94 points to close at 7109. The third day Sensex - Nifty closed at a record high . Midcap and Smallcap stocks rose from 1.5 to 1.7 percent
Power , Consumer Durables , Oil & Gas shares surged 3.25 to 3 per cent . Capital goods , realty , IT , technical stocks rose from 2.5 to 2.25 per cent . FMCG , metal , bank shares strengthened from 0.75 to 0.5 per cent . Healthcare shares fell 0.5 per cent .

In the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2014 , Bank of Baroda profit grows by 12.4 percent to Rs 1157 crore . Bank of Baroda rose by 4.5 per cent .
In midcap , Dewan Housing , Delta Corp , Manapuram Finance , BF Utilities , GMR Infra stocks rose 13-10 percent .
In Smallcap,NCC , Hindustan Construction , Simplex Infrastructure, Sharda Energy moved up 17 to 12.5 per cent .
Heavyweights stocks Cairn India , Hindalco , HDFC Bank , Sun Pharma , Axis Bank , M & M fell by 1:25 to 0:25 percent. There is also weakness in NMDC
In Asian market , Nikkei up nearly 2 percent.Kospi gets 1 percent stronger . Hang Seng rose nearly 0.5 per cent. Taiwan Index and Shanghai Composite are dull .
Due to bullish stock market , rupee strengthened 0.5 percent . The rupee is trading at 59.75 against the U.S. dollar . The rupee had closed at 60.05 on Monday .
